This week saw the delivery of our new Spy Camera helicopter, complete with a high definition camera. This week saw productivity in the office drop to an all time low.

So what is it? Basically it’s one of those RC helicopters that you fly using a remote control, but these particular helicopters have a camera built into the front of the helicopter, allowing the pilot to either snap photos or take video. Have you been wondering what your neighbour has been up to? Fancy seeing what the view is like on top of your house? These questions that you have been left wondering how you will ever find the answer to has now been answered! (Civil law suits cannot be taken out against us for breach of personal privacy!).

In reality these spy copters are just great fun and advanced in what they have to offer, including a built in gyroscope which stabilizes the helicopter allow the control of the flight to be easy, smooth and fun to use. It comes in very handy when outside as it aids in avoiding trees and other obstacles. There is also the blade system, which fold to a compact position avoiding the risk of them snapping. Once powered the blades position themselves to allow take off.

To record video or take a photo simply press a button on the remote and the camera will automatically begin recording or take a snapshot depending on the request. Once you are ready to watch the footage you connect the helicopter to the computer via USB.
