Some of our other packages provide a visual deterrent, however these cameras can be easily hidden away from view. As a result they are perfect if you are trying to monitor stock rooms, staff productivity or protect your home. They can be installed indoors or outdoors giving you flexibility to cover all environments. With 7 - 10 meters of night vision in infra-red mode, the cameras are perfect when positioned above entry points or vulnerable locations.

This package also includes an 8-channel Digital Video Recorder (DVR), which is fully network compatible so you can log in and watch the 8 video channels via your Intranet or internet. This is perfect for a variety of reasons including remote office working, monitoring/training new sales people etc.

This DVR is all signing all dancing and has a variety of superb control functions to incorporate the use of alarm system sensors, PTZ cameras (pan, tilt, zoom). Each camera channel is independent and can be fully adjusted to enhance the image quality to suit the location (brightness, hue, contrast). If you run the DVR unit in low resolution mode with all 8 cameras recording continuously, you will receive over 8 days of (202 hours) coverage before the unit begins recording from the beginning again. Unlike a VCR, the neat over-write facility means the system will run uninterrupted until you need to review footage, should an incident take place.... So no changing of videotapes!

With the 500GB hard drive, you will get a minimum of 86 hours of recording capacity when all 8 cameras run in high quality mode. So if your yard, warehouse, field or other space requires continuous coverage on all 8 cameras you will get nearly 4 days of recording capacity.

NOTE: this is if all 8 cameras run 24 hours a day. Of course if you run the DVR in motion detection mode or sensor trigger mode, you can extend this coverage to weeks or months (depending on peripheral activity). If you need more capacity on the hard drive, we suggest you consider our 500GB models, which will double the recording capacity!

The 8 channel CCTV recording system is simple to set up through a standard TV* and is compatible with wide screen and 4:3 monitors. Once your security cameras are connected, the screen can be set to display individual pictures, QUAD display (4 channel display) or all 8 channels on one screen. In record mode, the DVR unit has a number of flexible features provided through a simple menu system including motion detection on all 8 channels.

Of course, this package comes with everything you need to install including 8 x 10m power cables with AV BNC connectors and adapters AND our 12 month product warranty!
