Description

Night vision CCTV cameras are regarded as the industry standard for outdoor CCTV security. This night vision camera will give you full colour footage during the day and switch over to black and white imaging using infra-red when light levels drop below a certain amount. This infrared night vision camera is part of our Gamut White range and records footage at 420 TV lines which gives you enough image clarity to visually identify someone that is around 10 metres away in daylight or complete darkness. Additionally, we use an imaging chip manufactured by SONY, which means rich colours and visual fidelity.

This security camera has a varifocal lens, with individual controls for zoom and focus. This means you can clear, crisp footage at distance or zoom the camera’s view out for a wide-angle view to survey a larger area.

This particular night vision camera has been build from the ground-up to withstand vandalism and tampering. The night vision video camera is housed in a robust outer casing which is IP66 rated, meaning its water proof and durable enough to withstand thrown objects with no damage to internal electronics. The casing is made from aluminium which means that it won’t corrode like a night vision camera housed in a steel case or deform from sun damage like a night vision video camera that is housed in a plastic PVC case.

The mounting bracket is supplied with mounting screws and wall plugs allowing it to be mounted to almost any solid surface. The bracket’s mounting surface is lined with foam so that it doesn’t scratch any surface that the infrared night vision camera is mounted to. It’s also fully adjustable and allows for a full 360 degrees of adjustment. Once the night vision digital camera has been angled and focused to your satisfaction, it can be locked in place with the Allen key supplied to keep it rigidly fixed in place and stop vandals moving it.

The infrared night vision camera uses a BNC type connection which is the standard connection for all CCTV equipment due to the fact that is uses a locking connector which means the night vision digital camera won’t get disconnected should the cable get pulled. In addition, cable can be routed through the mounting bracket directly into the wall protecting it from damage or tampering. Alternatively the cable can be run along the wall with cable staples. Because the infrared night vision camera uses a standardised connector, it also means that this night vision digital camera is compatible with the majority of all other CCTV equipment (including all of our Digital Video Recorders).
