The 8-channel Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is fully network compatible so you can log in and watch the 8 video channels via your Internet or intranet. Believe it or not, when set up you could technically log in from anywhere in the world! Now that's global business sense - imagine how pleased your partner will be when you can be at work even on holiday!!!

This is perfect for a variety of reasons including remote office working, monitoring/training new staff etc. With 1 Audio channel, this DVR can used as a training aid for new sales staff. Video and record audio from live sales situations for review and improvement whilst keeping an eye on the other 7 channels.

This DVR is all singing all dancing and has a variety of superb control functions to incorporate the use of alarm system sensors, PTZ cameras (pan, tilt, zoom). Each camera channel is independent and can be fully adjusted to enhance the image quality to suit the location (brightness, hue, contrast). If you run the DVR unit in low resolution mode with all 8 cameras recording continuously, you will receive over 8 days of (202 hours) coverage before the unit begins recording from the beginning again. Unlike a VCR, the neat over-write facility means the system will run uninterrupted until you need to review footage, should an incident take place.... So no changing of videotapes!

You will get a minimum of 86 hours of recording capacity when all 8 cameras run in high quality mode, so if your yard, warehouse, field or other space requires continuous coverage on all 8 cameras you will get nearly 4 days of recording capacity.

NOTE: this is if all 8 cameras run 24 hours a day. Of course if you run the DVR in motion detection mode or sensor trigger mode, you can extend this coverage to weeks or months (depending on peripheral activity).

To back up the DVR, there is a simple USB back up function and the unit is easily played back via your monitor or through your PC if set up on your internet or intranet!

When run through a TV* or Monitor* your security guard can watch the footage to identify any suspicious activity before it happens. If something does take place, it will be safely recorded on the system for presentation to the police.
