Description

This wireless full colour Pinhole CCTV Camera with wireless DVR set is an excellent package. Position the pinhole camera and mini DVR anywhere to capture vital footage on the recorder or SD Card (optional).

It's really simple stand alone technology, which means once it's connected you just leave it to do its job. The DVR has some inbuilt motion detection software which only records when it detects movement in front of the camera. This means you save vital space on the DVR memory. You can get up to 50 x 10 second clips on the inbuilt flash card OR you can insert a 2GB SD card and get up to 4380 x 10 second clips.

The DVR has a simple menu which helps with the set up and records in PAL not NTSC which is not compatible with European TV systems. You can adjust everything from the sensitivity of the motion detection (MD), length of MD record in seconds to the hue, contrast and brightness of the images. It even has a function where the DVR will take pictures instead of motion footage to save even more space on the flash memory or your SD card. The camera can run wired or wirelessly and the versatile DVR also has a by-pass function so you can view the camera directly on your TV/Monitor.

To play back the footage you either plug the DVR into a TV or Monitor (leads supplied) or if you're using an SD card, simply put it into your computer using the appropriate slot and play straight from the card.

The receiver will work with up to 4 cameras (although only one camera can be set to record with motion detection at any one time).

The pinhole camera itself is tiny, just 2 x 2 x 2cm plus the stand (which you can remove if you want to) therefore can be installed in any environment. You can also focus the camera, which enables you to get the best from the pictures/footage you take short and long distance.

It only takes a minute to set up. Simply place the camera at the location you wish to observe and hide the DVR away as it will receive the images wirelessly. The built in transmitter has a range of up to 50m, dependent on obstacles. The spy camera has a high resolution of 380 TV lines from its CMOS imaging chip (see below for more info on CMOS chips) and can be run off either a 9V battery or a 9v AC power adaptor (both adapters supplied). For prolonged battery usage, you can also use a 12V car battery - please call us if you need more information on how to do this.
