Wireless Bird Box Camera with Night Vision - Perfect for your Garden

As we had put up a bird box in our garden, I purchased a bird box camera as a wee surprise for my wife. We initially had some teething problems with the reception that was down to router/wireless interference. A quick email with very explicit but simple instructions on how to change the channel and problem solved. We are now watching a 'coal tit' building a nest in the box and hoping for little ones in due course.

The service is very good and the product does what it says. With instructions in real english it is easy to install.

This does exactly as it promises. Quality item giving amazing high quality images. I installed it in under an hour. Delivered within 2 days exactly as promised. Full marks to DPD also who delivered in the promised 1 hour time slot.

So after reading the reviews I thought I would buy one of these setups to try in my bird box, well the reception is not that great, a lot of interference. I did contact tech support but we tried everything, switching channels, new channel on my router but it was always poor reception and I am not talking about 50 meters away. probably 15 meters at most and only having to go through one wall. In the end I had to repositon the reciever so that it is abut 10 meters from camera and the signal only has to penatrate through a pair of french doors, now it works ok.

An amazing view of the bird box I have it in, I have brought nest boxes with camera's already in there and have a really bad view so if the cameras brake I'll replace it with these. If I were you I would buy a nest box with out a camera which you can get for around £3 and then add one of these camera's to it. The only problem with the package is that you have to buy an adapter for it to work on laptops or computers (which they don't supply in the pack) and the adapter on this website is £29.99 at the moment which makes it really expensive so I went elsewhere to get the adapter and got it really cheap and worked fine but just waiting for the birds to take the box and it will be amazing!!!!!

I bought a bird-box camera from SpyCameraCCTV. The camera is excellent, but the best part is that ALL the bits of cable and cable connectors were included. I am not the most technically-minded person, but I found the instructions enclosed were excellent and very easy to understand. I even managed to set it up without having to consult my wife !!
The second-best bit was using DPD to deliver the goods. Their web-site is also excellent, promising to deliver in one-hour time slots- which they did. SpyCameraCCTV will be my first stop if I need any other similar goods.

A very good unit ,clear instructions ,as this camera is for my wife ,to bird watch I hope that she will have many hours of enjoyment using this equipment.

For the money I paid the camera is absolutely brilliant, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I just bought a nest box camera for my son. The camera quality is superb and it is also inexpensive. Will recommend SpyCameraCCTV to all.

I have all ways wanted to film inside a birdbox.Now i can.Great quality in picture and auido great too.

We have two bird boxes under the eaves of our detached garage which have been used by blue tits in past years. We decided to fix up one of these cameras in one box ready for this spring. Could not have been easier. Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday, arrived Tuesday and fitted Wednesday - worked fine straight away, great service from Spycamera !
Now we are waiting for the arrival of our feathered fiends to watch what's going on inside, rather than just seeing the comings and goings and hearing the tweets from out of the box.
Picture on our TV is perfect, even saw an ant crawling across the bottom of the empty box - all we need now is the blue tits to arrive!

I bought this camera in July 2011 and have waited to see how it performs before posting a review. Initially I had a problem because I had not realised that the wireless wave length from the camera to the receiver was the same as bluetooth which I use (on a Mac) to link my mouse and keyboard (2.4GHz). Eventually I found a position outside of the house to site the receiver away from the computer bluetooth range and bought a length of cable to bring the connection into the house. I was fortunate to already have software for use on a Mac (SecuritySpy) which, with the acquisition of a gismo from the US (XtraView USB) now allows me to see my box and to set it to trigger an alarm and start recording when I get movement or sound. The communication with the sales team after purchase was excellent and depending on how successful this goes in the spring I am considering buying a second camera. Best of all almost from day 1 I have had a Great Tit roosting in the box every night over the winter and have just had two Blue Tits checking the box for possible nesting.

After seeing a program on the TV about carers stealing from people they were supposed to be caring for, I spoke to SpyCamera to build a system for our peace of mind. The sales team put a package together with these pinhole cameras and a recorder. The cameras are tiny and give an amazing colour image and audio.

My wife and I have had birds nesting in our Bird Box's every year for the past 3 years. Until now we've never been able to see inside, just watching them go in and out to feed the chicks. I'd heard of these cameras before but thought they would be expensive and was expensive and was so pleased to find them for under £50. It was easy to set up and I just screwed the camera inside the box and put the receiver in the window and we get a crystal clear picture. The birds have been hanging around again so we are confident they will nest again this year.

I bought one of these Bird Box cameras for my daughters after they'd seen something on the TV. After putting it on our bird table we were really impressed that such a small camera gave such a good image.
