I have two of these set up in the nest box for my skunks. It saves a lot of wondering and worry when they have their kits and actually saved a litter last year when I could clearly see that mum was having a problem. The view is detailed enough to make out each individual kit and even the hairs and whiskers on mum. Very pleased.

The web site is very good and its easy to find and order the product you want. I had a small query and a quick phone call to a very friendly member of staff sorted it out. The delivery was very prompt and they use DPD as their courier who were terrific. I knew the packages movement all the way through with dates and times. I even knew the van drivers name. Now how bad's that. I purchased a bird box kit plus 3 extra cameras. What was really good was the fact that they had set the extra cameras to work on the different channels, as opposed to me doing it myself. Excellent service. Recommend to anyone.

Have really been enjoying "spying" on our little roosting Bluetit with our mini birdbox camera kit. We wait for her to come home in the evening and watch her settle down to rest.
How do I know it's a "she"? They were nesting this year and the poor wee female had an infestation causing her to lose all of her head feathers. This made her easily identifiable. Happy to say she is whole again, ready to face the winter.
Looking forward to next year's nesting.

Very pleased with my purchase....exceeded my expectations! My first purchase was the wireless version but sadly had interference from an outside source. This was returned for full refund and a wired camera sent which works perfectly. The guys on the phone lines, both sales and technical were well informed, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with!!

I fixed it up in a Tit box. The tits are building the nest as I write. One problem! I did not tighten the fixing screw enough. The blue tit who seems to beat hell out of the box moved it out of centre. So warning when camera is in correct place fix it hard.

I purchased this camera two years ago for my bird box. It has worked perfectly. nice clear images in that time. just one small niggle it is a colour camera that views in black@white.there may be a reason for this im not an expert.

A note from the team:

Hi A Keddie,

Great to hear your camera has served you well watching our feathered friends. All of our cameras are colour unless your box is too dark to see a colour image clearly when the 6 infrared LEDs around the lens come in to action to help you see. Unfortunately these can only give a black & white image which is what you describe.

You can help by creating a sun window in your bird box - a 1"-2" hole halfway down one side of the box covered with frosted perspex to let more natural light in. I hope this helps!

I have bought this camera to expand my existing system. And thanks for the customer service team who called me to make sure that I will get the camera with the correct channel on it. (I’ve been told that the new camera needed to be on a different channel from the existing one)

Full Description SpyCameraCCTV are currently supplying bird box cameras to Sparrowhawk Island.

This 2.4Ghz camera can be used as a replacement to virtually any 4 channel 2.4Ghz camera system. 2.4Ghz cameras can be set to 1 of 4 wireless channels. Whilst most cameras on the market are pre-set to one of these, our bird box cameras have switches on the back, allowing you to change between them yourself, ideal if one channel is being affected by wireless interference.

The camera itself comes with a power adapter and providing you have a compatible receiver, LCD screen, Mini DVR or other equipment should simply plug in and play with your system.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a camera only. You will need to add this to an existing system with a receiver for it to work.

This tiny Wireless 2.4 GHz Bird Box Camera sees in Full Colour during the day and has a microphone for audio. At night it switches on the 6 Infrared (IR) LEDs to see clearly in black and white.
