CCTV Monitors - Portable Video Recorders

Often covert cameras need an equally discreet CCTV monitor, this is where our wireless CCTV systems come into their own. A portable LCD screen or a CCTV monitor has a built in receiver which will pick up the signal from the wireless camera, or in some instance up to four cameras can be shown on the same LCD screen. These can be connected directly to a TV or carried around wirelessly. Some CCTV monitoring systems will include a Portable Video Recorder (PVR) which will either record directly onto its in built memory, or on an external memory card. This is great for short term applications where you are just trying to capture footage for a few hours at a time, or where a wireless camera is the only option due to lack of mains power or the need of portability. Portable Video Recorders are great as add-ons for home security systems as carrying a TV round the house isn't exactly practical.

A pinhole camera can be placed unobtrusively in a stock room, bedroom, or the playroom and used as a wireless Spycam so it's not even obvious it's there. We have in the past placed them in Coke bottles as Coke Cams, speaker grills, cuddly toys, and behind inanimate objects and viewed the images from the security camera on the portable video recorder a few rooms away. Some of the security cameras can be mounted with a screw head lens which looks like a standard screw into the wall.
